Online Submission Form for Labor Arts Contest

 
 
  • Only one entry per student;
  • Entries will be judged according to originality, content, and style by an impartial panel of CUNY faculty;
  • Prizes will be awarded at a ceremony in Spring 2019;
  • Poetry entries should be single-spaced; there is no page limit;
  • Non-fiction and fiction entries shall not exceed 25 pages (double-spaced, 1 inch margins, 12 point font);
  • Visual Arts submissions should clearly demonstrate both a concept and technical proficiency.  Poor documentation, incorrect file sizes, lack of an expressive statement, and/or failure to follow directions will disqualify your submission.
  • Winning entries will be published on the Labor Arts website (http://www.laborarts.org/)

Paste a brief (100-250 words) paragraph explaining how your work shares, and is a part of, the Labor Arts spirit; additionally, explain the medium and artistic tradition in which you are working.
