THEA 4502 World Theater History II

Survey of theater and performance in print cultures from 1500 to 1900. Topics include Chinese opera, European neoclassicism, drama in Spain and South America, Indian kathakali, melodrama, and Romanticism.
Prerequisite: English 1010 or equivalent
