SPAN 2120 Understanding Texts in Spanish 3 hours; 3 credits Development of reading and analytical skills in Spanish. Short, authentic texts, both literary and nonliterary, representing diverse contemporary styles and genres. Discussions and frequent writing assignments using a variety of approaches and supplementary materials available in the multimedia laboratory. Qualifies as a LOTE (Language Other Than English) course for Pathways College Option purposes. Prerequisite: Spanish 1030 or permission of the chairperson. Corequisite: Spanish *2018 [4.8], 2024, 2030W or permission of the chairperson.
