3 hours, 1 hour multimedia laboratory; 3 credits
Third in a three-semester introductory sequence. Further emphasis on basic social functions and practice in longer, more complex conversations, readings, and writing on a broader range of familiar topics. Communication of needs, ideas, and emotions. Continued study of cultures where Spanish is spoken. Qualifies as a LOTE (Language Other Than English) course for Pathways College Option purposes.
Prerequisite: Spanish *1020 [2], or the appropriate score on the Brooklyn College online placement test, or permission of the chairperson.
