PIMA 7020G Artistic Process and Contemporary Community

30 hours lecture, 45 hours lab; 3 credits

A workshop in interdisciplinary collaborative performance in a community setting. Students work in small collaborative groups to build relationships with community groups, co-author performance works with the chosen groups, and present the works in community venues. Theories and methodologies of community-based collaboration, cooperation, and coordination are addressed. This course can be repeated for credit.

Prerequisite: PIMA 7010G [701G] or permission of the director.
