PHIL 3122 Nineteenth-Century Philosophy 3 hours; 3 credits Critical examination of nineteenth-century philosophical movements and of such philosophers as Hegel, Schopenhauer, Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, and Marx. The empirical tradition, including such philosophers as J.S. Mill and Brentano, may also be explored. (Not open to students who have completed Philosophy 49.)
