Study of key philosophical works by such major philosophers as Buddha, Confucius, Plato, Aristotle, Nagarjuna, Augustine, Ibn Sina, Ibn Rushd, Aquinas, Maimonides, Descartes, Conway, de la Cruz, Hume, Kant, Marx, Russell, de Beauvoir, Arendt, Leon-Portilla, Wiredu, Mudimbe. Develops critical reading and writing skills, analytical skills, research methods.
