MUSC 7647X Sonic Arts Composition Seminar 45 hours; 3 credits This course guides students through an exploration of numerous contemporary music composition styles and techniques, to broaden and strengthen their artistic voices. Topics discussed will include harmony, timbre, motivic development, use of processes, chance, improvisation, and other methods to devise musical form and structure.
