4 hours; 4 credits

Advanced calculus of functions of several variables. Elementary topology of Rn. Partial derivatives and differentials. Chain rule. Implicit function theorem and Jacobians. Rigorous development of the Riemann integral. Line and surface integrals. GreenŐs theorem, StokesŐs theorem, the divergence theorem.

Prerequisite: Mathematics 2101 [10.1] and 4201 [11.1] and one other advanced Mathematics Department course.
