HNSC 7243X Food Policy
45 hours; 3 credits
A broad approach to food and nutrition policy with a focus on justice and food insecurity; programs that impact food production, distribution, consumption and access; A review of the national, state and local food and nutrition policies that effect industries, labeling, advertising.
Prerequisites: A course in community nutrition, community health course, or permission from the department chair.
