Biochemistry of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, inorganic salts, enzymes, vitamins, hormones. Bioenergetics and oxidation reactions. Pathways of intermediary metabolism.
(Not open to students who are enrolled in or have completed Chemistry 4580.)
Prerequisite: Health and Nutrition Sciences 2210 and either Chemistry 2500 or 3510.
