Laboratory experience demonstrating and evaluating the physical and chemical changes to food and food nutritional values in relation to processing, preparation, and storage.

Prerequisite: Prerequisite or corequisite: Chemistry 1040, Health and Nutrition Sciences 1200 or 2210; Corequisite: Health and Nutrition Sciences 2220
