ENGL 7911X Reading Fiction 30 hours plus conference; 3 credits Advanced textual analysis of selected literary works; creative writing related to these works. Weekly course meetings for first-year students in the M.F.A. Fiction program. This course may be taken two times in the first year but not more than once in any semester. Topic to be chosen by the instructor. Prerequisite: matriculation in the creative writing program with a concentration in fiction or permission of the deputy chairperson.
