ENGL 7504X Literature, Psychology, and Mind: Theory and Practice 30 hours plus conference; 3 credits A survey of theories in psychoanalytic criticism and/or adjacent literary theories interested in psychology and the mind, such as reader-response theory, affect theory, narrative theory, memory studies, and cognitive literary studies. Application of these theories to analysis of selected literary works.
