ENGL 3143 Thematic Studies in the Nineteenth-Century Novel

4 hours; 4 credits

Study of a topic in either the early or late nineteenth-century novel. Examples of topics include: Victorian mystery; domesticity and adultery; the marriage novel; the novel of social realism; diversity in the novel. Topic to be selected by instructor.

Prerequisite: ENGL 1010; or corequisite ENGL. 1012.
