BUSN 3380 The Business of eSports 3 hours; 3 credits This course offers students deep insight into the business of eSports. Students will study and analyze the strategies that have been used to build and grow new eSport ventures and expand established eSports businesses. Students will study how the various stakeholders who are part of the eSports ecosystem deploy and manage assets to create economic value. The stakeholders include leagues, teams, players, fans, streaming platforms, game publishers, game designers, event organizers and event sponsors. Each stakeholder has an economic interest which must be considered and analyzed by strategic partners and suppliers.
