ACCT 4121 Advanced Taxation: Planning & Current Developments

3 hours; 3 credits

The goals of this course are to: become more familiar with a broad range of tax concepts; learn the principles and problems associated with the federal income tax laws; emphasize the role of taxation in the business decision-making process; discuss tax efficiency, tax equity and tax ethics; learn more about the methods of professional tax planning and research; preparation for the CPA examination and professional practice.

Prerequisites: ACCT 3101 and ACCT 4101. (ACCT 4101 may be taken as a corequisite.)
