Strategies for cost accumulation with emphasis on control, planning, and decision making. Management decision making under uncertainty. (Not open to students who have completed Accounting 3038 or equivalent.)

Prerequisites: Economics 3400 or Business 3400; and Accounting 3011 or equivalent , and Math 1006 or Math 1021, or placement into Mathematics 1011, 1012, 1026, 1201, 1206, or any Mathematics course numbered 2000 or higher. Students are expected to have proficiency in spreadsheet analysis for business (e.g., MS Excel) before taking this course; for students without this skill set, Computer and Information Science 1050 is highly recommended. After Fall 2023, ACCT 3001 will also be required as a prerequisite.
