SPCL 3200 Assistive Technology for Students with Disabilities
3 hours; 3 credits
Introduction to assistive technology and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and how to integrate both into learning and teaching for students with special needs; Implementation of Assistive Technology assessment and evaluation for appropriate service; Types of devices (e.g., low-tech, mid-tech, high-tech) and use within the school and community.
Prerequisite: SPCL 3100
