SEED 3060 Measurement and Assessment in Physical Education

3 hours; 3 credits

This course addresses statistical techniques applied to tests and measurements used in physical education and sport settings (P-12). Topics include historical background of testing processes, evaluation and practical application of test, measurement and evaluation techniques including those designed to measure health and skill related fitness, skill acquisition and motor performance, grade level and behavioral outcomes. (Not open to students who have completed KINS 3060). A minimum grade of "C" is required in this course.

Prerequisites: Declared Physical Education major, minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
