PSYC 7780G Quantitative Methods in Psychology

45 hours; 3 credits

Emphasis will be placed on the mathematical procedures used in psychological theories and in the theoretical analysis of psychological data. Possible topics are curve-fitting procedures for straight lines, polynomials, and growth functions; regression procedures including multiple regression, ANCOVA, time-series analysis, computer intensive methods, computer simulation and robust methods of analysis.

Prerequisite: PSYC U7705G.
