PHIL 3212 Elements of Philosophy 4 hours; 4 credits An introduction to the methods and practices of philosophy, with an emphasis on the development of core philosophical skills. These skills include reasoning and logic, textual interpretation, argument analysis and reconstruction, and argument construction. Instructors will select appropriate philosophical materials for developing these skills.
