Study of solo piano repertoire from the 1600s to the present through critique of student performance. Piano history, literature, performance prectice, and performance. Practical application in solo performance settings as assigned. May be taken more than once.

Prerequisite: permission to take Music 7791X [779.1X]-7793X [779.3X], 7950G [U795G], or permission of the director. Corequisite: Music 7791X [779.1X]-7793X [779.3X], or 7950G [U795G], as applicable.
