MUSC 7782G Global Music Ensemble

45 hours; 1 credit

This course performance class will be dedicated to styles and repertoires of music that lie outside the realms of standard Western Art Music and American Jazz. Each semester the ensemble will focus on a specific musical tradition form one of the following areas: Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, Eastern Europe, the Mid-East, and South and East Asian. May be taken for credit each semester the student is enrolled.

Prerequisite: Audition or permission of the program director.
