Broad survey of American Jewish history from the 1650s to the Twentieth Century. Developments in political, cultural, economic, and religious life. Interactions with Jewish communities throughout the world and other ethnic and religious communities in the United States. Starting Spring 2021 Satisfies Pathways Flexible Core US Experience in Its Diversity requirement.

Prerequisite: English 1012 or equivalent.
