GSCI 7032T Evolution, Ecology and Biodiversity

Exploration of concepts in evolution, ecology and biodiversity at the American Museum of Natural History and environs. Evidence for evolution, evolutionary mechanisms, speciation, human evolution. Evolutionary relationships as a lens for biodiversity. Environmental change, healthy ecosystems. Traditional and molecular methods of assessment of and threats to biodiversity. Integrates content and pedagogy.
