2 hours lecture and practice; 2 credits

Introduction to the ancient Chinese practice of Tai Chi, often described as ?meditation in motion.? Tai Chi promotes mental, emotional and phsycial wellbeing through gentle, flowing movements; it is known for its potential benefits in stress reduction, balance, and coordination improvement. No prior experience in martial arts is required. Regular practice outside of class is encouraged. Taught in English. (This course is same as MVMT 1910)

Prerequisite: none.
