30 hours lecture, 30 hours lab; 3 credits

Advanced creative work in camera and darkroom techniques aimed at developing individual expression and technical mastery. Independent research incontemporary trends. Seminar discussion.

Prerequisite: matriculation for the M.F.A. in art or for the M.A. in art education; and a minimum of two undergraduate courses in creative photography or permission of the deputy chairperson.
