FINC 7242X Security Valuation and Value Investing

The course covers conceptual and theoretical valuation frameworks, translating them into practical approaches to company valuation. Emphasis is placed on qualitative and quantitative security analysis. The curriculum integrates relevant accounting topics with appropriate finance theory to demonstrate the implementation of valuation frameworks. Topics covered in depth include discounted cash flow techniques and price multiples. Additionally, the course explores other valuation techniques.
