CASD 7537X Multicultural Competency in Speech-Language Pathology 30 hours (plus conference or independent work), 2 credits Foundational knowledge related to various dimensions of diversity including racial, ethnic, cultural, linguistic, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic, religion, age, and disability in clinical practice in speech-language pathology. Designed to foster multicultural awareness, sensitivity, and competencies for provision of ethical and evidence-based practice to work with diverse clients and their families.
