POLS 7730X Postcommunist Politics 30 hours plus conference; 3 credits Examination of the history and politics of the postcommunist societies of Eastern Europe and Central Eurasia. Analysis of the major puzzles of the region: democratization, the state and revolution, class and poverty, nation-building and disintegration, gender, and globalization.
