POLS 7650X Human Rights: Theory and Practice 30 hours plus conference; 3 credits Study of human rights problems and the international community's approaches to them. Examination of theory and history of human rights, the functioning of human rights organizations, the relationship between human rights and political systems, and patterns of rights violations against different ethnic, racial, religious, gender, and other groups.
