SEED 7156T Administration, Leadership and Supervision in Physical Education

45 hours; 3 credits

General principles of administration, leadership, and supervision in physical education and sport programs. Emphasis on practical application of concepts, principles, and theories in physical education and sport. Current topics and trends in management and techniques of supervision in school settings with a focus on school-community and school-personnel relations. Preparion for physical educators and coaches to be leaders of and advocates for quality physical education and sport programs. (Not open to students who have completed KINS 7156T.)

Prerequisite: a graduate course in physical education/kinesiology and a minimum of a year of teaching experience.
