LATN 4160 Latin Institute: Intensive Reading 21 hours for 7 weeks; 8 credits Intensive reading program in Latin. Improvement of reading skills and knowledge of Latin syntax through the close reading of both prose and poetry. Regular prose composition exercises. Seven-week summer course taught at the CUNY Graduate School and University Center. Special fee for photocopied materials. Qualifies as a LOTE (Language Other Than English) course for Pathways College Option purposes. Prerequisite: Permission of the director of the Latin/Greek Institute.
