INDS 4102 Biomedical Research Experience II Minimum 9 conference hours plus 6 hours weekly fieldwork; 3 credits Biomedical research in a clinical setting, utilizing concepts of study design, subject selection, variable conceptualization and operationalization, data collection and analysis. Special attention will be given to the unique features of conducting research in a clinical setting including issues of informed consent, patient confidentiality and privacy, and research ethics. Prerequisite: Interdisciplinary Studies 4101 [73] and permission of the program coordinator.
