PSYC 3700 History of Psychology 3 hours; 3 credits Historical development of contemporary psychology including origin of systematic approaches, structuralism, functionalism; behaviorism, Gestalt psychology, psychoanalysis; philosophy of science as applied to psychological theory. (Not open to students who have completed Psychology 63.) Prerequisite: Psychology 1 and 2, or 1000 [1.1]; and 9 credits in advanced psychology courses.
