AFST 3341 The Politics of Gender in The Caribbean

3 hours; 3 credits

Analysis of the role of gender in the greater Caribbean as it intersects with race and ethnicity in shaping nation-building, the economy, political relations, notions of citizenship, rights, policymaking, familial and societal relations, and cultural practices. This course is the same as Caribbean Studies 3115, Political Science 3247, and Women?s and Gender Studies 3367.

Prerequisite: English 1012 [2] or sophomore status or permission of the chairperson.
