Analysis of the internal structure of words in natural languages. Examination of the nature of the morpheme and of word-formation processes including inflection, derivation, and compounding. Interface between morphology and other levels of linguistic analysis. This course is the same as Communication Arts, Sciences, and Disorders 2720.

Prerequisite: Linguistics 2001 or Anthropology 2301.
