ECAE 3001 Parents as Teachers during the Early Years 3 hours; 3 credits Parenting as a supportive and educative process; needs of parents with young children with and without special needs from pregnancy through second grade; explore how parental attitudes, culture, immigration, racial/ethnic diversity relate to children's development and learning, with a focus on low-income urban communities.
