FILM 2120 The Nonfiction Film 4 hours; 3 credits Introduction and overview of the development of a documentary tradition in international filmmaking. Lectures, screenings, and discussions will be geared toward analyzing nonfiction film as a medium of observation, education, persuasion, activism, and aesthetic expression. Prerequisite: Film *1101 [1] or permission of the chairperson.
