However, the Biology B.A. major includes two courses (BIOL 1001, BIOL 1002, CHEM 1200, and CHEM 2200) that also satisfy Pathways requirements. Therefore, students majoring in Biology B.A. only need to complete 36 additional Pathways credits. *The Chemistry courses outlined above are required of pre-med and pre-dental students. However, students may choose an alternative sequence of Chemistry courses to those outlined above. Please consult a faculty advisor from the Department of Biology to determine the most appropriate sequence of Chemistry courses for you. **Candidates for a B.A. degree with a major in biology must complete at least 60 credits in science and mathematics.
