Other Academic Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should be highly motivated and successful undergraduates who are comfortable with calculus, basic matrix manipulations and elementary linear algebra. Students in the mathematical modeling in biology program should have some background in differential equations. Students interested in pursuing statistical modeling should also have had an introductory statistics course. No special prior experience with mathematical software or computers is required.
